Hoop earring maintenance
Check the tension from time to time . The latch may loosen in time.
You’ll need to adjust it with needle nose pliers or tweezers. Apply
gentle pressure to squeeze the latch while the post is in place so it can
grip the post without easily slipping out. If it is too tight, then loosen
the latch by slipping in a thin object like a razor blade or thumb tack
and gently widen the gap.
